跟站立姿勢一樣雙腿併攏,保持全身挺直,邁步前腳趾、腳踝與膝蓋連成一綫。走路時,首先膝蓋前屈,帶起小腿向前邁,然後瞬間伸直腿部,腳跟與前掌几乎同時着地,這與穿平底鞋的先腳跟後腳掌的着地方式不同,着地那一刻,重心前移。再次以膝蓋前屈的方式,一邊收回另一條腿一邊繼續向前邁步。
